The DemoDAIRY precinct is the central hub of dairying in south-west Victoria.

The Precinct leases office space, research facilities, student visiting facilities, conference room, meeting room and farm land to tenants and researchers.

Current tenants include WestVic Dairy, the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia (NCDEA) and the University of Melbourne. Each of these tenants is a separate organisation, independent of DemoDAIRY and governed by their own rules and management procedures.

CONFERENCE AND MEETING ROOM HIRE

There are a range of facilities for hire at the farm precinct.

•  Conference room with seating for up to 70 people
• Meeting room with seating for 10 people
• Field day area
• Community barbecue and events area in enclosed pergola
• Student visiting facility
• Classroom

Catering can be arranged to accommodate a variety of needs from hot meals to more simple fare.

A charge applies for renting theses facilities but it varies depending on what is required. The costs are very low for community groups.

Events can be fully managed or you can simply hire our facilities and conduct your own program.

A range of events are held at DemoDAIRY, including seminars, conferences, meetings, service provider information sessions, farmer focus group meetings, dairy extension activities, training sessions, team meetings and many more.

DemoDAIRY welcomes visits (by appointment) from community organisations, schools, trainers, government organisations, businesses and other groups.

FIELD DAYS

DemoDAIRY has perfect facilities for hosting field days. There is ample parking and areas for marquees and display stands.
