Farm income is derived from milk sales and livestock sales which pays for farm expenses including labour, fences, herd costs, feed, tracks, plant, equipment, maintenance & repairs, pastures, crops, fertiliser, farm office, insurance, loan interest, workcover and farm buildings. Co-operative Administration income is derived from tenant rent, project fees, sponsorship, facility hire fees and donations. Co-op admin expenses include administration and cleaning labour, audits, printing & stationary, gardening & lawn maintenance, building repairs and maintenance, Board expenses, shareholder expenses, vehicle, office equipment and events.
DemoDAIRY provides office accommodation to tenants (WestVic Dairy, National Centre for Dairy Education Australia and University of Melbourne research teams) and leases land for projects and demonstrations. There is also a Conference Room and Meeting Room for hire.
